Urbino
Haydn loading a kiln during a firing

Where it started

I'm Haydn. In early 2026 I spent a month interning at Kiln Studio in New Zealand, where I got to learn the basics of ceramics and what it takes to run a pottery studio day to day.

I saw first hand how much time and effort goes into making a studio run smoothly, not least because of the lack of purpose built tools for studios like Kiln.

The missing piece

A tool built around how studios actually work

The more I got into the pottery world and talked to owners of different kinds of studios, the clearer it became that something was missing. Not another generic booking tool, but an all-in-one package to help owners run their studio - with workflows shaped around them and the way they already work.

Why "Urbino"?

"Urbino" was the nickname of Michelangelo's beloved assistant. He helped run the studio, kept his affairs in order, and freed the platform to be for you - which is why it's named for him.
